DIY Weddings: DIY Wedding Reception Menu Card Template

Here's all you need to make your own wedding reception menu cards.

Chic Wedding Reception Menu Cards

You'll Need:

  • letter-size paper in three colors
  • 1/4" hole puncher
  • ribbon

How To Make Them:

1. Once you've gone to the tasting and your menu is ready to print, download the small template, medium template, and the large template.

2. Type your first course on “template small,” your entrée on “template medium,” and your dessert on “template large.”

3. Once you've got them printed, cut them out, punch a hole in the top center, and tie them together with a beautiful ribbon. Lay them flat on each place setting at your reception.

The only way that I know of to change the color of the rings is to recolor the image, however it is not letting me. My other solution that I have found is to redraw a circle on top of the circle and then recolor it. Could take some finagling, but it is possible.

I can't do it either! did anyone figure it out?

Question: I REALLY REALLY want to use these templates but cannot change the color of the circles. When I right-click the circle, as suggested by another knottie, I get a menu that allows me to change color of the template OUTLINE, not the circle. Any other suggestions? I have WORD 2007..

I still can't change the color of the circle. It will only let me change the color of the border around the whole page. Help.

double click the ring, choose the tab that reads colors and lines, click the drop down menu by color and choose which one you would like

Agreed, same question as below. How do you change the colors of the rings?

I was also wondering how to change the colours in the rings. Thank you

Great template! How do I change the menu image? Thanks!

How do you get the circles to be different colors like in the image (and like in the most recent The Knot magazine)?
